Question

I was looking at the dress today and I noticed there are two slits on the sides (one on each side). Does anyone know the reason for this?

    TIA!

Pockets? Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but are their pockets in her undergarments? (I don't have them, or I would go look. )

"(In Felicity?s time, dresses had slits in the sides so a girl could reach into the deep pocket she wore under her dress.) "

Yes, the pocket is part of her undergarments. All of her dresses have these slits on the sides.
